SCARBOROUGH — Community Services and Massachusetts-based Party Headphones are partnering up to throw a Halloween bash that’s fun for “all ages, abilities, and comfort levels.”

Also known as a “Silent Disco,” the Quiet Riot event will provide each guest a wireless headset for the evening, “allowing each person to adjust the volume of the music to their liking,” according to a release from Community Services.

Other activities, such as a Halloween-themed movie, coloring and a selfie station, will also be available for attendees. There will be a costume contest with prizes for those “dressed in their Halloween best.”

Tickets may be purchased online at www.eventbrite.com or in the Community Services Office at Town Hall through Oct. 26 for $8 per person. If headphones are still available, tickets will be sold at the door on a first-come, first-serve basis for $10 per person.

Use of wireless Party Headphones during the event, a Halloween goodie bag and light refreshments are all included in the entrance fee.

The event is open to both residents and nonresidents. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults in attendance do not need to purchase a ticket to attend unless they want to participate and hear the music.
