PORTLAND — The 33rd annual Halloween parade is coming to the West End on Oct. 31.

The parade begins at Reiche Elementary School, 166 Brackett St., at 6:15 p.m. and is expected to end at the school playground around 7 p.m. The parade route follows Brackett, Pine, Emery, Spruce, Clark and Salem streets.

Participants include ShoeString Theater, Youth in Action and LearningWorks. Neighbors and children are invited to join in.

Artistic volunteers are still needed, as are people to staff barricades at temporary street closures along the parade route.
