PORTLAND — A public forum on the new Hall School that was scheduled for Tuesday night at 6 p.m. was postponed due to the weather.
But the Reed School Re-Use Advisory Task Force will host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday to seek public input on the future of the former school, warehouse and central kitchen. The meeting will be held at Riverton Elementary School at 1600 Forest Ave.
The 33,600-square-foot building on 2.5 acres between Homestead Street and Libby Avenue off Forest Avenue was transferred to the city from the School Department in June 2014. The task force on potential re-use options and methods for evaluating proposals was formed in September 2014 and will report its findings to the City Council Housing and Community Development Committee.
