Scarborough senior standout Ben Greenberg was named Tuesday as the repeat winner of Maine’s Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year. Greenberg, who has a 3-1 record and 1.17 earned run average on the mound and a .519 batting average to boot, is an A-minus student, volunteers for Ronald McDonald House Charities, in youth baseball programs and community cleanup initiatives and has raised funds to aid a school in Haiti. Greenberg will attend and play baseball at Fordham University next year.
