PORTLAND — Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein will appear at the University of Southern Maine at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14.
Stein will be speaking about student debt and the cost of higher education in rooms 214/215 at the USM Abromson Community Education Center, 88 Bedford St. Her appearance is the first in her tour of New England college campuses, according to organizers.
Also scheduled to appear with Stein is activist and author Medea Benjamin. Free parking is available in an adjacent parking garage.
