Greater Portland Christian School senior Liz Garland recently received one of two Maine Principals’ Association Sportsmanship awards bestowed during the 2010-11 school year for her actions during the basketball season. Garland, a Bridgton resident, was the MVP of the girls’ basketball and girls’ soccer teams, a scholar-athlete in both sports and the recipient of the first annual Jenn Will Female Athlete of the Year award, given in honor of the former GPCS AD and coach.
