Greater Portland Christian School senior midfielder Adam Simpson was given the Harold Charlton Memorial Award by the Western Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials for his sportsmanship, leadership, ability and contributions to the success of the team.

“It’s been a pleasure to coach Adam over the last three years,” said GPCS boys’ soccer coach Chris Spaulding. “He exemplifies everything we expect of a student-athlete. He’s quiet and reserved, but plays with passion and respect for the game, his opponents and teammates.”
