Cape Elizabeth eighth-grader Isabel Robertson will learn more about visibility as her artwork goes on display on the Internet as part of the Doodle 4 Google contest sponsored by the search engine company. Her rendering of a wildlife scene framed around the search engine logo was the state winner for her age group and is now competing for one of five national finalist selections. The finalist selection process occurs by online voting through May 10. State winners will be invited to New York City, where the national winner will be selected from the finalists on May 17. The national winner will be awarded a $30,000 scholarship and the winning school will be awarded a $50,000 technology grant. Winning artwork will also be displayed at the New York Public Library.
