The Bowdoin women’s volleyball team had plenty to celebrate about last weekend during a pair of non-conference wins Friday evening against Colby-Sawyer (3-0) and Coast Guard (3-1). With the victories, the Polar Bears’ senior class of Tory Edelman, Melissa Haskell and former Greely High standout Hillary Cederna improve to 82 career victories, making them the winningest class in program history.
Bowdoin’s Sophia Cornew goes all out to hit the ball during last weekend’s victories. Cornew had 28 assists and 11 digs in a victory over Colby-Sawyer. The 25th-ranked Polar Bears moved to 18-2 this fall.
