crash 1.JPGOn Tuesday, a pick-up truck traveling on Babbidge Road slammed into the
rear of a Falmouth school bus carrying 32 children. Police said there were no injuries. The truck was
totalled. The 2009 bus sustained $10,000 worth of damage. The truck
driver was a 16-year-old girl who was bringing her 11-year-old brother
to school. The impact caused snow
in the truck bed to smash through the rear windshield, embedding the
boy to his neck. Police said the girl claimed she was blinded by glare from the sun and did not see that the bus
had stopped to pick up children. Police still said the cause would be listed as driver
inattention. (contributed photo)
