FALMOUTH — The Falmouth Garden Tour will take place Saturday, June 21, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and feature eight private gardens on the Foreside and in other town neighborhoods.
In addition to taking in seaside gardens with ocean views, attendees will have the opportunity to hear lectures, tour school gardens with student docents, view a demonstration on raised-bed gardening for people with mobility issues, and watch painters working en plein air at one of the gardens.
All proceeds from the tour will benefit Falmouth Memorial Library. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the tour. Ticket vouchers can be purchased at Skillins Greenhouses, 89 Foreside Road; Allen, Sterling & Lothrop, 191 Route 1; The Book Review, 251 Route 1; Broadway Gardens in South Portland and Westbrook; and in advance at the library, 5 Lunt Road, or at falmouthmemoriallibrary.org.
