FREEPORT — The Port Teen Center will host its sixth annual Sitting Pretty charity auction on Sunday, March 23, from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Freeport Community Center.

Approximately 80 local artists have donated hand-painted clocks and lazy Susans for the event, which includes a live auction, silent auction and raffle.

Sitting Pretty is produced by Randall Wade Thomas, whose son, Max, was a regular at the Port Teen Center before he died of cancer following his sophomore year of high school. It has generated more than $44,000 for the center since its inception.

Tickets, which will be available at the door and include hors d’oeuvres, are $10 per person or $25 per family. Visit rsu5-rce.org to preview artwork and purchase $5 raffle tickets.
