CAPE ELIZABETH — Allyn Fye, 31, who was reported missing on Nov. 17 by his mother, has been seen by two friends, but as of Tuesday still had not made contact with family or police.

According to Police Chief Neil Williams, police are less concerned about Fye now that there have been confirmed sightings. Williams said Fye was seen in Biddeford on Nov. 18 and was given a ride to Newington, New Hampshire, on Nov. 19. It’s still unclear why he hasn’t contacted his family.

Fye, who worked at C Salt in Cape Elizabeth, was reported missing after his mother didn’t hear from him. Williams said Fye’s mother, who lives in Massachusetts, speaks with her son regularly.

According to Williams, Fye has been living with someone in Cape Elizabeth, but it’s unclear if that is his permanent residence. Williams said police are still trying to contact Fye to “make sure he’s in a good place.”
