FREEPORT — Residents can now register vehicles and get license plates at Town Hall.
The town began issuing license plates and registrations at the beginning of November after the state granted its request to be allowed to do so.
Previously, residents had to pay excise taxes at Town Hall and then go to a Bureau of Motor Vehicles office to obtain registration and plates.
