FREEPORT — The Police Department and Freeport Fire Rescue will hold their annual Fire Prevention & Public Safety Open House Wednesday, Oct. 10.
The event will be held in the Freeport Public Safety Building at 16 Main St. from 5-7 p.m.
This year’s highlights will include watching K-9 Cassie at work and a demonstration of how fire spreads in a home. There will also be equipment demonstrations, blood pressure checks, safety information, and vehicle and apparatus displays.
