Arrests

11/8 at 12:43 a.m. Tristan D. Splint, 33, of Park Street, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Mallett Drive on charges of operating under the influence, possession of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia, and drinking in a motor vehicle.

11/9 at 9:27 p.m. Yonathan Cardenas-Garcia, 22, of Stevens Avenue, Portland, was arrested by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Independence Drive and Lower Main Street on charges of operating under the influence and operating a vehicle without a license.

11/13 at 12:19 p.m. Tasha M. Hilts, 27, of Spring Street, Auburn, was arrested by Officer Keith Norris on Main Street on two warrants and charges of attaching false plates, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and operating after license suspension.

Summonses

11/9 at 7:14 a.m. Jacob Gary Crone, 21, of Marvin Way, was issued a summons by Officer Tom Kay on a charge of unlicensed dog.

11/11 at 1 p.m. Christopher Rundlett, 34, of Wildes District Road, Kennebunk, was issued a summons by Officer Thomas Gabbard on Main Street on a charge of unauthorized taking or transfer.

11/13 at 12:19 p.m. Michael J. Reil, 24, of Court Street, Auburn, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Norris on Main Street on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

11/13 at 12:19 p.m. Jeremy R. Hilts, 27, of Pleasant Street, Auburn, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Norris on Main Street on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Bike and bite

11/9 at 2:09 p.m. A dog broke loose from its owner while walking on Pine Street. The dog allegedly chased after a person riding on a bike and bit his leg. The dog reportedly has all its shots and will be quarantined at home.

Phantom shot

11/10 at 12:35 p.m. A resident reported hearing a loud bang and saw smoke on Pownal Road. Police checked the area and found nothing.

Winslow whirlwind

11/12 11:12 a.m. Police report signs at Winslow Park were allegedly smashed and picnic tables were flipped over, causing about $500 in damage.

Fire calls

11/9 at 5:51 p.m. Lines down on Mallett Drive and Main Street.

11/10 at 12:37 p.m. Propane, gas alarm on Flying Point Road.

11/10 at 3:03 p.m. Fire alarm on Wardtown Road.

EMS

Freeport emergency medical services responded to nine calls for service from Nov. 7-13.
