Summonses

3/25 at 1:03 p.m. Robert Drewal, 40, of Lewiston, was issued a summons by Officer Jason Bartlett on Durham Road on a charge of speeding more than 30 mph over the speed limit.

3/26 at 2:16 p.m. Benjamin R. Shellgren, 29, of Brunswick, was issued a summons by Officer Jason Bartlett on Wardtown Road and Keystone Drive on charges of possession of marijuana, sale and use of drug paraphernalia and operating vehicle without valid inspection certificate.

Too legit to quit

3/21 at 11:30 a.m. Police were notified of a suspicious vehicle and someone going door to door on Old Mast Landing and Flying Point roads. Police report the person was legitimately fund raising for the Portland Fire Department.

Too stuffy

3/25 at 2:05 p.m. A resident contacted police to report a dog had been left inside a vehicle with the windows rolled up at the Casco Bay YMCA on Old South Freeport Road. The owner was located and the situation was resolved.
