6/13 at 2:31 p.m. Jonathan S. Brooks, 24, of Durham, was arrested by Officer Jason Bartlett on Wardtown and Alice roads on charges of drug and narcotic violations and drug equipment violations.

6/14 at 2:47 a.m. Simon G. Brown, 22, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Thomas Gabbard, on Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

6/15 at 9:50 p.m. John M. Zmuda, 48, of Bartol Island Road, was arrested by Sgt. Nathaniel Goodman on Poland Road on a charge of domestic violence assault.

6/14 at 2:54 p.m. Diane O. Whitmore, 53, of Lajoie Drive, was issued a summons on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Unknown wound

6/11 at 4:58 p.m. A resident of the South Freeport area contacted police to report a cat with a wound of “unknown origin.” The animal will be observed by its owner for rabies after a visit by the veterinarian.
