12/31 at 8:05 p.m. William I. Worthing, 43, of Manchester, Mass., was arrested by Officer Keith Norris on Lower Main Street on a charge of operating under the influence.
1/1 at 12:18 a.m. David Chaves, 19, of Gore Road, Alfred, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Desert Road on charges of operating under the influence and possession of marijuana.
1/1 at 12:57 a.m. Michael S. Halsey, 22, of Post Road, Bowdoinham, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Independence Drive on a charge of operating under the influence.
1/1 at 12:11 p.m. Gregory A. Hodge, 47, of Windham, was arrested by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Mallett Drive on charges of operating under the influence and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
Summonses
12/26 at 9:26 p.m. Cody M. Boyd, 19, of Cheyenne Drive, was issued a summons by Officer Brandon Paxton on Route 1 on charges of trafficking in dangerous knives, possession of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
12/28 at 7:12 p.m. David A. Drehobl, 49, of Brunswick, was issued a summons by Officer Nathaniel Goodman on Pleasant Hill Road on a charge of operating under the influence.
12/30 at 1:22 p.m. A 17-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy, all of Freeport, were issued summonses by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Stagecoach Road on charges of possession of marijuana. The 16-year-old was also issued a summons for sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
Holiday construction?
12/28 at 1:42 p.m. Police report nearly $1,600 worth of scaffolding and construction equipment was allegedly taken from a store on Route 1 around the holidays. The items were stored outside, so police report the time of the theft has not yet been determined.
New Year’s Eve games
12/31 at 9:35 p.m. Police received a call from neighbors around Kendall Lane who reported children allegedly making noise at the middle school. When police arrived the people reportedly ran off into the woods.
