1/31 at 12:56 p.m. Maurice L. James, 22, of Washington Street, Portland, was arrested on South Freeport Road by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on a charge of criminal mischief.

2/1 at 2:50 p.m. Cynthia L. St. Peter, 54, of Lavoie Street, Jay, was arrested on Main Street by Officer Brandon Paxton on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Summonses

1/30 at 9:55 p.m. Joseph Ranger, 35, of Waltham Street, Westbrook, was issued a summons on Old County Road by Officer Paul Chenevert on a charge of violating a protective order.

2/1 at 9:52 a.m. Jeremiah D. Allen, 18, of Stackpole Road, Durham, was issued a summons on Holbrook Street by Officer Michael McManus on charges of sales and use of drug paraphernalia.

2/6 at 1:12 p.m. William O. Marquis, 65, of Gorham, was issued a summons on Cottage Street by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on charges of possession of marijuana and failure to produce evidence of vehicle insurance.

1/30 at 10:50 a.m. Police responded to a report of vandalism on Main Street. Officers told a person to stop drawing with chalk on town-owned garbage cans.

2/4 at 3:37 p.m. Police responded to a report of a disturbance on Bow Street and found someone walking up driveways and approaching houses. He reportedly claimed to be distributing fliers for a house painter.
