Arrests

8/17 at 1:25 p.m. Clifford Abbott, 20, of Boston, Mass., was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Thomas Gabbard, on two charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and charges of aggravated forgery and unsworn falsification.

8/17 at 1:25 p.m. Bienvenido DeJesus, 32, of Boston, Mass. was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Thomas Gabbard, on two charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

8/17 at 1:25 p.m. Estefania Figueroa, 21, of Boston, Mass. was arrested on Route 1 by Officer Thomas Gabbard, on two charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

8/17 at 6:16 p.m. Breny Guevara, 26, of Dorchester, Mass., was arrested on Tidal Brook Road by Detective Gino Bianchini on two charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs.

8/20 at 12:57 a.m. Jeffrey Scott Benson, 51, of Sandy Beach Road, was arrested by Sgt. Nathaniel T. Goodman at Sandy Beach Road on charges of assault.

Summonses

8/15 at 2:33 p.m. Cassandra D. Brown, 21, of Freeport, was issued a summons on Griffin Road by Officer Jason Bartlett on charges of possession of a usable amount of marijuana and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.

8/15 at 3:13 p.m. Nathaniel Lee Solorzano, 29, of Durham, was issued a summons on Wardtown Road by Officer Jason Bartlett on a charge of speeding 30 mph over the speed limit.

8/15 at 7:09 p.m. Benjamin E. Boutin, 19, of Ponderosa Drive, was issued a summons on Lower Main Street by Sgt. Nathaniel T. Goodman on charges of a minor possessing liquor, a minor having false identification and furnishing liquor to a minor.

Parking lot dispute

8/13 at 3:37 p.m. Police were notified of two juveniles having a dispute in the parking lot of Shaw’s Supermarket on Lower Main Street. According to the police, the kids and their parents to resolved the issue.

Causing a ruckus

8/17 at 8:45 p.m. Residents of the Cushing Briggs Road area contacted police to report fireworks had been lit at the end of their driveway and a lawn figurine was overturned. No one was found when police searched the area.
