8/8 at 8:46 p.m. Anne B. Zill, 69, of Portland, was arrested by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Pine Street and Route 1 on a charge of operating under the influence.

8/13 at 1:26 p.m. Jeffrey F. Cogswell, 48, of Prout Road, was arrested by Officer Brandon Paxton on Route 1 and Upper Mast Landing Road on charges of operating under the influence, operating a vehicle without a license and failure to wear a seat belt.

Summonses

8/8 at 11:40 p.m. Bryant Wood, 19, of Halifax, Nova Scotia, was issued a summons by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Park Street on a charge of indecent conduct.

8/9 at 8:03 p.m. Justin W. Williams, 30, of Poland Road, was issued a summons by Officer Keith Norris on Poland Road on a charge of assault.

8/10 at 12:43 p.m. Shawnda Coffin, 35, of Lisbon, was issued a summons by Sgt. Nathanial Goodman on Mallett Drive and Route 136 charges of assault and violating condition of release.

8/12 at 8:30 p.m. William K. Wing II, 32, of Independence Drive, was issued a summons by Officer Matthew Moorhouse on Somerset on a charge of violating condition of release.

Not the time or place

8/11 at 12:03 a.m. Police were notified of people allegedly hunting deer in a field on South Freeport Road. They reported a red truck parked on the road, but police did not locate it. Police report it is illegal to hunt at night, and it is not deer season.

Checked out

8/11 at 6:29 a.m. Police met with a person who parked their car at the Harraseeket Inn overnight and found their window had been broken. Police estimate $200 in damages.

Nail, not mail

8/12 at 8:57 a.m. An employee of the Post Office contacted police to report nails found in the parking lot. Police report they were roofing nails, which were cleaned up since they could be dangerous to mail delivery vehicles and those visiting the post office.

Roughed up ranger

8/12 at 9:11 p.m. Police were notified that a park ranger at Wolfe’s Neck Park had been pushed and hit when he came across four people drinking alcohol on the trails. The ranger couldn’t identify the people and when police arrived, they had left. Police report they will increase their after hours patrols.

8/9 at 9:03 a.m. Elevator alarm, lockout on Kendall Lane.
