Freeport recently honored top athletes at its Winter Sports Awards Evening.
Boys’ basketball gave its Dedication award to Landon Easler. Jack Davenport won the Master Charge award. Connor Dietrich took home the Booster’s Pride and Character award.
The junior varsity team gave Athletic Excellence awards to Brian Lee and Brendan Qualls. Eli Fox won the JV Booster’s Pride and Character award.
The girls’ varsity team named Jocelyn Davee Most Improved. Leigh Wyman won the Coach’s award. Ashley Richardson took home the Booster’s Pride and Character award.
JV Athletic Excellence awards went to Dani Foster and Hannah Ray. Baily Karnes took home the JV Booster’s Pride and Character award.
First team Athletic Excellence awards went to Angie Hohnholt and Madison McCallum. Nicole Perry won the first team Booster’s Pride and Character award.
Indoor track gave Finish Line awards to Abrim Berkemeyer and Ceira Wentworth. Starting Block awards were given to Chloe Hight and Ashton Jordan. Shane Brady and Lexi Dietrich received Booster’s Pride and Character awards.
Alpine skiing gave Coach’s awards to Wynne Cushing and Alec Salisbury. Brady Davis and Taylor Enrico won Booster’s Pride and Character awards.
Nordic skiing gave Coach’s awards to Elizabeth Martin, Nick Nelsonwood and Virginia Moore. Forrest McCurdy and Taylor Schenker won Booster’s Pride and Character awards.
Cheering gave Coach’s awards to Danielle Morency and Rachel Sayward. Casey Erlebach took home the Booster’s Pride and Character award.
