FREEPORT — The Freeport Masonic Lodge will host a benefit dinner to support the Wounded Warriors, Operation Homefront on Sat., April 18, at 6 p.m.

The benefit will be held at the Freeport Lodge, 33 Mallett Drive, and will help support injured servicemen and women throughout Maine as they return from active military duty.

The money raised will help the injured military personnel support their families and pay home bills while their active duty pay stops and their military benefits begin, which can sometimes take between six and 18 months.

Pam Payeur, the mother of a wounded warrior from Maine, will be the guest speaker at the benefit dinner. There is a suggested a $10 donation at the door, and there will be a silent auction with donations from several local businesses.

For more information, or to donate services, food, or beverages, contact Rick Stadnicki at 939-8567 or Lodge Master Richard T. Neuts at 809-0819.
