FREEPORT — Book donations are being accepted through May 4 for Freeport Community Library’s annual book sale, May 5-10.

Also on Friday, a preview night fundraiser will be held from 5-8 p.m. For $10, those who attend will have the first pick of popular books.

Books, DVDs and CDs in good condition will be accepted from noon-5 p.m. Friday. Books must be clean and bindings must be intact. The library cannot accept donations of encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, computer books, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, or VHS tapes.

The book sale, hosted by Friends of the Freeport Community Library, will take place during library hours. Proceeds benefit library programs and services.
