Freeport recently handed out awards to its top fall athletes.

Football named Pete LaMagna the Best Offensive Player. Jake Farmer was named Best Defensive Player. Justin Laveque was given the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

Boys’ soccer gave Coach’s Awards to Caleb Abbott and Blake Enrico. Nate Small was given the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

The junior varsity team gave its Athletic Excellence Award to Caiden Shea and Chandler Wyman. The Booster’s Pride and Character Award went to Max Heathco.

Girls’ soccer’s Coach’s Award went to Emily Johnson and Alyssa Richardson. Jill Baker won the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

The JV team gave Athletic Excellence Awards to Olivia Greuel and Emily Latulippe. Bridget Tompson won the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

The first team Athletic Excellence Award went to Olivia Alterio. Taylor Dostie won the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

Field hockey named Morgan Karnes Defensive MVP. Kendra Harrison won Most Improved Player. The Booster’s Pride and Character Award went to Dani Foster.

The JV Athletic Excellence Award went to Haley Boyden and Callie Toothaker. Megan Seymour won the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

Boys’ cross country, the Class B state champion, gave is Golden Arrow Award to Liam Gallagher. Erik Brobst won the Winged Shoe Award. Chandler Vincent took home the Booster’s Pride and Character Award.

On the girls’ side, Ella Russell won the Golden Arrow Award. Lily Johnston took home the Winged Shoe Award and the Booster’s Pride and Character Award went to Maya Egan.

Golf’s MVP was Wynne Cushing. Alexis Erlandson was named Most Improved Player. The Booster’s Pride and Character Award went to Zach Merrill.

Varsity cheer gave its Spirit Award to Sarah Minihan. Kym Graves was named Most Improved. The Booster’s Pride and Character Award went to Kasey Erlebach.

Freeport Middle School gave Athletic Excellence Awards to the following:

8th grade boys’ soccer Jason D’Amico and Atticus Patrick.
7th grade girls’ soccer Sarah Gray and Lindsay Routhier.
8th grade girls’ soccer Ashley Arruda and Whitney Smith.
7th grade field hockey Catriona Gould and Lucy Whittaker.
8th grade field hockey Alexa Koenig and Kelsey Williams.
Boys’ cross country Nick Mitch and Thomas Mosier.
Girls’ cross country Natalie Crawford and Kaitlynn Morrissey.
Football Hunter Demers and Josh Todd.

Durham Community School also gave out Tiger Pride Awards to Heath Cockburn, Rebecca Packard and Mitchell Parent in cross country, Myles Benica, Sam Larochelle and Sam Tourigny in boys’ soccer and Abby Koenig, Caroline Smith and Abby Turner in girls’ soccer.
