FREEPORT — The Freeport Historical Society will host a brief discussion on the volunteer opportunities available at the organization’s headquarters, Harrington House at 45 Main St., Thursday, April 16 from 10 a.m. to noon.

There will be a tour, a light lunch, and a talk given by assistant Annie Robinson, and collections manager Ned Allen.

Volunteers are needed in the office headquarters, in the collections department helping to organize and catalog documents and artifacts, in the garden, with light maintenance, or as a tour guide at Pettingill Farm.
