PORTLAND — The Preble Street Maine Hunger Initiative has begun its free Summer Food Service Program for kids in Portland, South Portland, Freeport, Brunswick, and other areas throughout Cumberland County.
Children 18 and under are invited to enjoy a free, nutritious meal while school is out. For information about meal hours, and to find the food service site closest to you, dial 211. The Maine Department of Education oversees the program.
