BRUNSWICK — Frances Carrie (Seavey) Shorey, 90, of Brunswick, died Jan. 29.

Shorey was born and raised in Bath, the daughter of Frank and Belle (Morse) Seavey. She was also a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Bath.

She was predeceased by her husband, John W. Shorey Sr., who died in 1996.

She is survived by her children, Jean Shorey, of Brunswick; Joyce Butt, of Damariscotta; John Shorey Jr., of Newburyport, Massachusetts; and Frank Shorey, of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; seven granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours and a funeral were held Feb. 6 at the First Baptist Church.
