Former Olympian to direct track camp
Olympic Gold Medal winner Dick Fosbury will direct a summer track camp at Bowdoin College. Fosbury won the 1968 high jump in Mexico City with a revolutionary technique now known as the “Fosbury Flop.” The camp will run June 28 through July 2. FMI, fosburycamp.com

Bowdoin all-stars named
Two male and five female Bowdoin lacrosse players were recently honored for their play this season. Boomer Repko and Owen Smith were named honorable mention All-Americans by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association. For the women, Elizabeth Clegg and Ingrid Oelschlager were named first team all-region selections. Katy Dissinger, Becca Austin and Steph Collins-Finn were chosen for the second-team.

Bowdoin tennis season ends
The Bowdoin tennis season came to a close last weekend. Jamie Neely and Oscar Pena reached the title match of the Division III doubles championship before losing to a tandem from Bates in a three-set thriller. Stephen Sullivan lost in the opening round of the singles tournament. On the women’s side, Sarah D’Elia lost in the semifinals of the singles tournament. D’Elia and Sarah Lombardi lost in the first-round of the doubles tourney.
