Isaac Lipton, a Cumberland native, who played boys’ lacrosse at North Yarmouth Academy as a freshman and sophomore, helped Boston University’s men’s lacrosse team reach the Patriot League playoffs this spring, where they defeated 10th-ranked Bucknell in the quarterfinals and lost to sixth-ranked Loyola in the semifinals. Lipton, a senior at BU, was named Academic All-Patriot League honors for a third straight year and was selected to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) East-West Senior All-Star game. Lipton had a career high in ground balls (52) and caused turnovers (20).
