Falmouth’s Eileen Brandes, Falmouth High Class of 2007, recently became the first University of Michigan field hockey player to be named an Academic All-American. Brandes went to Michigan as a recruited walk-on and finished as captain of a Big Ten champion which reached the NCAA quarterfinals.
