Scarborough’s Owen Garrard and Falmouth’s Jack Bryant are two of the three finalists for the prestigious Fitzpatrick Trophy, given to the state’s top senior football player. Wells’ Nolan Potter is the other finalist. The winner will be announced Jan. 14.
Semifinalists for the Frank J. Gaziano Memorial Offensive and Defensive Lineman Awards were also named last week. Cape Elizabeth’s Nathan Labrie is a semifinalist for the Offensive Award, along with Bonny Eagle’s Zachary Klein, Kennebunk’s Cole Hoffman, Sanford’s Nicholas Works. Thornton Academy’s Jack Webb and Wells’ Sean McCormack-Kuhrman. The Defensive Award semifinalist list features Cheverus’ Zeb Leavitt, Falmouth’s Griffin Aube and Scarborough’s Anthony Griffin, and also includes Bonny Eagle’s Arlo Pike, Leavitt’s Aidan Parmenter, Sanford’s Michael Lunny and Thornton Academy’s Garret Lynn. The winners will be announced Jan. 27.
