BRUNSWICK — Florence Y. Bouchard, 98, died April 17 at Sundridge Village Assisted Living Facility in Bullhead City, Ariz.

She was born in Brunswick on March 16, 1914, a daughter of Dolor and Florendez Livernois.

In 1936 she married Wilfred E. Bouchard. She worked at Aeurbach Shoe Shop for many years and later retired from working as a housekeeper at the Skolfield House. In 2007 she moved to Bullhead City, Ariz., to live with her daughter, Louise.

She was a cat lover and her favorite color was blue. She enjoyed eating at restaurants and her favorite foods were fried chicken, fried clams, pizza and Chinese food. She also had a great fear of elevators and thunderstorms.

She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Bouchard; nine brothers, Oliver, Henri, Joseph Louis, Phillip, Joseph, Joseph Albert, Omer, Rosaire and Rochel; three sisters, Lucienne, Lillian and Bertha; and a granddaughter, Lisa Estes.

Bouchard is survived by her sister, Germaine Chateauneuf, of West Springfield, Mass.; daughters Yvette Davenport of Brunswick; Louise Estes of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Ann Moody of Brunswick; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at St. John’s Cemetery at a later date.
