Falmouth’s Mollie (left) and Grace Fitzpatrick, who played lacrosse at Cheverus High School, helped the Norwich women’s lacrosse team take the Great North Athletic Conference championship and qualify for the NCAA Division III tournament. Norwich defeated LaSalle, 17-6, to win the conference title as Grace, a sophomore, went off for nine goals, while Mollie, a senior, scored twice. Grace was named the GNAC MVP for the second year in a row and both Mollie and Grace were first team all-conference selections. Norwich’s season ended with a loss to Middlebury in the Round of 32 of the NCAA tournament.
