YARMOUTH — Nomination papers for candidates in the June 14 town election must be turned in at Town Hall by 1 p.m. Friday, April 29.
School Committee member Bob Watterson as of Tuesday had not taken out papers, according to Town Clerk Jennifer Doten. Also, North Yarmouth resident Stephen Gorden had not taken out papers for his seat on the Water District Board of Trustees.
Town Councilors Pat Thompson and Rob Waeldner have returned papers for their seats, and School Committee member Leah Guay has returned her papers. Joan Dollarhite, who unsuccessfully ran for Town Council in 2014, also returned papers for one of two School Committee seats.
Ann Fleming has also taken out papers for a seat on the School Committee, but had not returned them as of Tuesday. No one has taken out papers for the one Water District seat.
Each office has a three-year term.
