BRUNSWICK — Faye E. Clark, 88, died July 27 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.

She was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Whiting, the oldest of eight children of William A. and Nellie M. (Crane) Corey.

She graduated from Lubec High School and lived in Lubec until she moved to Brunswick in 1995.

She married Russell J. Clark on March 6, 1944, in Washington, D.C.

While living in Lubec, she was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church. After moving to Brunswick, she continued her membership with the Dirigo Grange, of which she was a member for over 50 years.

A longtime student and admirer of antiques, she owned and operated Clark’s New and Used, Lubbock and the Hay Loft, Freeport. Additionally, she served as a bookkeeper for local businesses.

She was predeceased by her husband Russell in 1981, three brothers, Horace Corey, Carlton Corey, Allan Corey, and a sister, Ruth Nichols.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth N. Hart of Brunswick; a brother, William A. Corey of Lubec and a sister Alice Teriault and her husband Frank of Lubec; two nieces, Wanda Corey of Lubec, Shelly Tinker of Lubec, among other nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on July 31, with a 10:45 a.m. Grange service followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
