POWNAL — The state Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry will host its first Family Fun Day at Bradbury Mountain State Park on Saturday, Feb. 24. 

L.L. Bean’s outdoor school will lead snowshoe walks at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The department’s Maine State Parks Ski and Snowshoe Trailer will be available for free equipment use. 

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. L.L.Bean will hold a fat-bike demonstration. Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation will also be showcasing equipment used for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. 

All events are free with park admission, which costs $1 for ages 5-11, $4 for Maine residents ages 12-64, $6 for nonresidents ages 12-64, and $2 for nonresidents 65 and older. Persons under 5 and Maine residents 65 and older are free.
