CAPE ELIZABETH — Fort Williams Park will again be the site of a day of free family activities when the annual Family Fun Day begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16.
The festival, considered the town’s “unofficial kickoff to summer,” lasts until 4:30 p.m. and begins with a parade to the park from Cottage Farms and Shore roads.
Inside the park, families can enjoy displays of arts and crafts, live music by Island Beat and Nate Perry’s Band, a 1 p.m. dog show, and a karaoke contest to end the day.
Family Fun Day organizers said the festival is held to support and encourage local nonprofit groups and organizations.
