FREEPORT — The 16th Close to the Coast 5K and 10K races are Saturday as part of Winslow Park Family Fun Day.
Race registration is from 7:15 to 8:45 a.m. and costs $15. There will be a 1K Kids Fun Run after the main race and every participant will get a prize from Wilbur’s of Maine. Race proceeds support the Freeport Rotary Club Scholarship program. Visit www.freeport-rotary.org for more information or register through active.com.
There will be no entrance fee for Family Fun Day, which includes food and refreshments, ice cream, games, swimming, arts and crafts and a bounce house. Camping is available for those who want to stay the night.
