FALMOUTH — Residents of Falmouth followed the trend in the rest of the state when it came to the four statewide questions on the ballot Tuesday.

Although not all the results were in, as of late Tuesday evening it appeared that the proposal for a casino in York County was on the way to defeat, the expansion of Medicaid appeared to have wide support, as did the transportation bond and a measure to fix the state pension fund.

That tracked with how the vote in Falmouth went.

On the state ballot questions Falmouth voted against the casino in a vote of 3,672 against to 452 for. On the Medicaid issue, voters supported it 2,802 in favor to 1,323 against.

On the transportation bond, the vote was 3,375 in favor and 735 against. And on the pension fund question Falmouth voted 2,928 in favor of amending the state constitution with 1,057 against.
