FALMOUTH — Voters have approved an additional $500,000 bond to support an expansion and renovation of Falmouth Memorial Library. In addition, they approved two proposed charter changes.
The library vote was 4,295 for and 3,108 against, according to Town Clerk Ellen Planer.
The charter questions, which included upping the threshold for capital projects requiring a referendum vote, also passed easily.
Charter question No. 1 was approved 4,031 to 1,472 and charter question 2 received 3,205 votes for and 2,483 votes against.
