FALMOUTH — The town hired Lucas Tree to do an inventory this week of browntail moth nests on all public roads east of Interstate 295 and select public roads west of the highway.
Residents who are aware of browntail moth nests on their own property are encouraged to email the details to mtryon@falmouthme.org or call 699-5335.
Residents reporting such nests are asked to include their name, address, the number of nests and their specific location. Go to the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry website for help in identifying browntail moth nests.
