FALMOUTH — The nonprofit group GreatSchools and Forbes.com rank Falmouth No. 1 their second annual list of “Best Cities to Live and Learn.”

The town joins 66 other communities across the country that were ranked based on public school test score data, median home prices and population data.

Falmouth received a score of 100 for its public education system, the highest score possible, and tops the list of “The Best Schools for Your Real Estate Buck.

The report said “Falmouth’s got serious education chops, consistently outperforming state and national averages in achievement and earning the only perfect score on the educational quality index.”
