Falmouth High sophomore Leika Scott won both runs in the giant slalom at the High School Eastern Championships March 9-11 at Attitash. Scott was fifth in the slalom and third overall. She previously competed at the J1 and J2 USSA Eastern Finals Championships in Okemo, Vt., and won the overall title, winning the giant slalom, placing second in the slalom and fourth in Super G. That qualified Scott for the Junior Nationals and for any Eastern Cup race and Federation Internationalle du Ski event next season.
