FALMOUTH — Public schools will close early Thursday due to the impending storm, the School Department announced Wednesday.
Middle and high school students will be dismissed at 11:20 a.m. Thursday. Elementary school students will be dismissed at noon.
All after-school practices and events on Thursday are cancelled.
The National Weather Service on Wednesday issued a winter storm watch for coastal Cumberland County beginning Thursday morning through Friday. Snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches is predicted.
