Falmouth’s sailing team took part in the Atlantic Coast High School Fleet Racing Championship in Christchurch, Va., Nov. 10-11 and produced a second place finish. Falmouth took part for the third year in a row in an event which featured teams from Maine to Florida and even from the Bahamas. Skipper Charlie Lalumiere and crew Haley McMahon finished first overall in the ‘A’ division fleet. Skipper Riley Engelberger, along with crew Kayla Adelman and Myles Everett, finished sixth overall in the ‘B’ division fleet. Reed McDermott travelled with the team as an alternate.
