FALMOUTH — The Police Department plans to step up OUI enforcement after receiving a $5,000 grant.

The grant, from the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety, is intended to fund increased OUI enforcement, including sobriety checkpoints, according to a department news release.

The increased enforcement will take place during the “next several weeks,” the release said.
