9/2 at 5:47 p.m. Ernest Dubeau, 27, of Portland, was arrested at Staples by Officer Steve Townsend on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating the conditions of release.

Summonses

8/24 at 1:08 p.m. Matthew Weeks, 23, of Portland, was summonsed on Shady Lane by Sgt. Frank Soule on a charge of theft by unauthorized use of property.

9/1 at 8:45 p.m. Lisa Bowman, 44, of Portland, was summonsed on Middle Road by Officer Stephen Chard on a charge of operating while a license was suspended or revoked.

Rude awakening

8/29 at 3:12 a.m. Police responded to a call from a resident on Brown Street reporting a man walking up and down the street pushing a shopping cart and screaming profanities. Officers reportedly located the man and warned him for disorderly conduct.

Strip search

9/2 at 5:21 p.m. A Staples employee called police after reportedly witnessing a man grab two printers and run out of the store. When the employee yelled at the man, he allegedly dropped the printers and fled into the woods. Police located Ernest Dubeau, 27, of Portland, hiding in the woods along Depot Road, wearing only his underwear, allegedly stating that he stripped to avoid identification. He was arrested and charged with theft and violation of conditions of release.
