Drug use sends juvenile to hospital

FALMOUTH — A 17-year-old male was taken to the hospital last month after suffering a bad reaction to the illegal drug MDMA, or “Molly,” according to Lt. John Kilbride.

It might be the fist time Falmouth police have dealt with the drug, which is the active ingredient in ecstasy, Kilbride said.

Arrests

9/29 at 1:30 a.m. Garrett H. Foster, 22, of East Avenue, Lewiston, was arrested on Gray Road by Officer Steve Townsend on a charge of operating under the influence.

10/1 at 10:15 p.m. Griffin F. Kline, 20, of Woodlands Drive, was arrested at his residence by Officer Dennis Ryder on a charge of domestic violence assault.

10/2 at 10:38 p.m. Steven G. Maier, 52, of Flintlock Lane, was arrested on Mountain Road by Officer Dennis Ryder on a charge of operating under the influence.

Summonses

9/28 at 11:02 a.m. Arthur L. Hall, 33, of Woodford Street, Portland, was issued a summons at Hannaford Bros. on Gray Road by Sgt. George Savidge on a theft charge.

Fire calls

9/27 at 4:20 p.m. Motor vehicle crash on Andrews Avenue.

9/28 at 8:47 p.m. Alarm on Woodville Road.
